Dr. Baxter will be going on maternity leave April 1st 2024, returning mid 2026.

Dr. Mikaila Brown will be covering her practice for virtual consultations and pre-iron infusion calls during this time.
Dr. Brown also has a gut-focused practice! She is dedicated to helping people navigate their health with more confidence and ease. She is committed to elevating the standard of care for common digestive concerns such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), functional constipation, food intolerances, bloating and heartburn through the principles of naturopathic medicine.

Supporting people with obtaining an IBS diagnosis and creating a unique plan to support symptoms. This may include evidence-based supplements, acupuncture, gut-brain connection and/or dietary recommendations. Giving you confidence without feeling restricted by elimination diets!

if you have changes to your digestion after antibiotics, illness after travel, food poisoning or abdominal surgery (including C section), your microbiome may be needing some TLC. This also includes assessing for SIBO or SIFO (small bacterial fungal overgrowth).

Are you having well-formed and complete stools every day? Or more than every 3 days? How do you know if it’s constipation or normal? Bloating and discomfort can come along for the ride. I can help you starting with basic foundations (blood work, nutrition, movement) and the appropriate treatment to help you feel more comfortable.

Mood fluctuations, joint pain, vaginal dryness or pain and sleep disturbances are just some of the clues that things are starting to shift. I can support you!
